The tooth was fractured by tongue ring. It started to become very sensitive. We were able to restore the tooth with E max crown and patient was now comfortable. If left untreated the tooth could have further fractured or possibly needed a root canal procedure. Our patient was happy to do the restoration before it became a larger problem.

Tooth was fractured by tongue ring. Restored with porcelain Emax crown. Patient was very nervous and her tooth was starting to bother her. She was very comfortable using Nitrous or Laughing gas. We see this type of damage all the time from tongue piercings.

DENTAL IMPLANTS TO REPLACE FRACTURED TOOTH

A single missing tooth can easily be replaced with a titanium implant. The look and feel are similar to the natural tooth.
IMPLANT CROWN
JM broke her tooth at the gum line. The tooth was not savable so we opted for extraction and implant placement. Implant was placed and allowed to heal. We then restored her smile with an implant retained porcelain crown. The implant procedure, as well as restoration, is all performed in our office. No need to see an oral surgeon. Dr. Call places our implants under IV sedation or local anesthetic whatever the patient prefers.

Patient came in as emergency after chipping his front tooth. We were able to restore with a single porcelain crown to match his existing teeth. He was very happy we were able to do this with local anesthetic which kept him very comfortable.

It is important to get regular cleanings at the recommended interval. Tartar can build up and cause the gum tissue to recede and the bone to be resorbed.

J. was hit in the face at work with a metal fitting. Several of his teeth were fractured. He needed a few root canals and then to have the teeth restored. He was nervous because he had such a beautiful smile and now it was severely damaged. We were able to get him comfortable and temporized right away. Weeks later he had his new smile.
